Headland helps businesses thrive in a customer-centric world by offering PR and communication services to the likes of PepsiCo, Lidl, The AA and TSB. We partnered up with Headland to deliver a content rich and easy to manage WordPress website, giving the user a seamless experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Creating serious amounts of content, they required a scalable website design that can expand to fit their growing portfolio. We used a masonry grid layout, allowing them to place articles in optimal position based on available vertical space on screen in a tiled grid layout. To keep the site looking fresh moving forward, we utilised Unsplash’s open-source image library, allowing the client to keep imagery consistent and on-brand, without compromising on quality.
The site is built on WordPress CMS, utilising advanced custom fields for content editing. Selecting an open-source platform like WordPress gave Headland piece of mind and flexibility for future development. Author attribution allows website editors to assign posts to different team members, whilst the MailChimp Widget links website sign-ups through to their weekly segmented mailing lists.
